Outstanding Volunteer Award at a special ceremony in the Israel Museum

In the week of the ceremonies and festivities of Israel’s Independence Day, Marion Kunstenaar received the Outstanding Volunteer Award at a special ceremony in the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. Mayor Nir Barkat presented Mrs Kunstenaar with the award and thanked her on behalf of the thousands of needy schoolchildren that have received nutritious meals on a daily basis. The Mayor and officials of the Education Department praised mrs Kunstenaar for her never ending efforts to put an end to malnourishment and to bridge the gap between the various segments of Jerusalem’s complex society.
Festive evening
The festive evening of tribute to YAD ELIE founder and President Marion Kunstenaar, was a moment of pure joy.
